What happens to the resulting collage?

The resulting collage will be projected as a visual art installation at the Riverside Studios during the Colombiage festival on the 17th and 18th October.

A printed version of the resulting collage will then be at the heart of an auction in 2010 to help raise funding for the next edition of Colombiage.

Where will your money go?

Your contribution will help to further the scope and reach of this major collective initiative, the first of its kind to highlight Colombian culture worldwide. All proceeds from El CoLoCo will help us to enhance this website, reach more people and make a bigger statement about Colombia to the rest of the world.

Proceeds from El CoLoCo will also go towards making Colombiage 09 a reality. From bringing artists from Colombia to hiring venues, producing shows and marketing the event, your support will help us to enrich the quality of what we do, offer more variety and make a lasting difference to the way people experience Colombia today.

El CoLoCo and Colombiage are both independent, not-for-profit initiatives dedicated to the promotion of Colombia. They are run a by a team of volunteers who passionately believe in the power of arts and culture as a means of expression, integration and change of perception.
